Google無法解決的Android更新頻繁的問題：Gooogle承認頻繁地升級其作業系統是讓營運商和開發商都相當頭痛的問題（Froyo、Gingerbread、Honeycomb、Ice Cream Sandwich），並非所有的Android行動裝置都獲得即時升級，雖然Google承諾今年五月要提出解決辦法，也和部分營運商及手機大廠合作，但事實上卻沒有任何實質進展，甚至有業者說Android系統更新聯盟（Android Update Alliance）已經不存在了。
